Oh those memories of Christmas long ago. I can remember going to bed on Christmas eve without a decoration in or on the house. Then on Christmas morning, the inside of the house came alive with decorated tree with presents underneath. Santa brought the tree and presents. Being from a poor family this left a lasting impression that will never be forgotten. The presents were not much but valuable to us. Most of them were used hand me downs but they were new to us. That was my Christmas long ago memory that I'll cherish forever.
